Let me explain. So I graduated high school in 2016 and started college that fall, and I have been very adamant on finishing school as quickly as possible! Not that I don’t enjoy school and living away at college, but I’m just ready to be done with all the assignments and living off $5. Even though I’m fully aware once I graduate I’ll probably still be living off $5, oh well. In high school I took a few college courses so I could get a head start and I’m actually a full semester ahead of where I’m supposed to be and I’m so excited to be a junior! Only about 300 days of class left…but who’s counting?
This is a little bit of a life update so stick with me for a second. It’s currently winter break and my spring semester school anxiety has already kicked in! Lol! Seriously though, I’m not kidding. I don’t know if I’m the only one that does this but even though I don’t have class right now and I have zero assignments I still get this rush of panic thinking that it’s 12:00am and I should have turned something in. Buttttt I am so excited for the spring semester because I just recently got news that I will be a TTM for the class of 2022! Most universities have a program to make the freshman feel welcomed and to teach them everything they need to know to prepare them for the next 4 years. Tarleton takes a tremendous amount of pride in their transition mentoring program and they choose leaders (TTM’s) to mentor the freshmen and I am ecstatic to have been given this opportunity to show the class of 2022 how amazing our campus is! In addition to being a TTM I am going to be taking fewer hours than I normally do so hopefully this semester will be a little less stressful and will give me more time to write and do the things I love!
Next semester Christian and I will also be taking on a new fitness journey so we’ll see how this goes, lol! June 2018, my family is traveling to New York and sailing out on an 8 day cruise and I seriously can’t contain my excitement! But with this being said, Christian and I need to retire our membership to chick-fil-a and start working on our beach bods. We did really well last spring and found a plan that worked for us and our schedule so we just need to get back in that routine. If anyone knows of any plans that have worked for them, especially in the college atmosphere shoot me a comment because we need all the help we can get!
I think that’s everything going on in my life right now, but as always follow my social media at the bottom of my site to see what I’m dong next!
much love, Sydnee
